Learning Objectives
This activity is designed for the practicing surgeon to gain an understanding of current surgical research and its clinical applications as well as current socio-economic issues. There will be invited guest lecturers, podium presentations, poster displays, and solicited audience discussion. At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Participants will be able to describe the spectrum of challenges currently present in today’s surgical education
- Participants will be able to recognize various wellness issues faced by surgeons along their career spectrum
- Participants will be able to explain the latest challenges in surgical subspecialties.
